The objective of air-conditioning is to remove thermal (heat) energy from spaces in warm seasons and to transfer heat to spaces in cool seasons.

Nano LiquiTec® is engineered specifically to solve a problem called oil-fouling, discovered by ASHRAE (the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers). Oil-fouling occurs naturally when compressor oil attaches to the inner walls of the refrigeration tubing and acts as an insulator to heat-exchange. These oil deposits block heat-transfer, reducing the system’s efficiency. Nano LiquiTec® delivers colder air by ensuring systems reach their set point temperatures faster. Systems treated with Nano LiquiTec® cycle off more frequently, resulting in less energy usage, lower utility bills, and a reduction in their carbon footprint. Nano LiquiTec® lowers maintenance costs and extends the life of the equipment.
Nano LiquiTec® is installed once and lasts the life of the treated equipment (in chillers, a small booster charge is required after the third oil change or in approximately 7-8 years). Cost savings can be applied across temperature-controlled supply chains, including production, pre-cooling, storage, transportation, and distribution, along with associated equipment and logistics, as well as enterprise-wide in any corporation or government entity.

There is no downtime before, during, or after installation. Nano LiquiTec® is installed into cooling, heating, and refrigeration systems, much like installing refrigerant to a compressor’s oil.
It is critical to note, Nano LiquiTec® is not a refrigerant, oil additive, or PROA (Polarized Refrigerant Oil Additive). PROAs are proven to be highly corrosive chemical agents that most typically contain sulfur, detergents, chlorowax, and chlorine and are not recommended by ASHRAE.
